About Us

HUH, Inc.” is a Christian, faith-based 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that provides temporary housing and shelter between 1 to 12 months for those who are experiencing homelessness or have been displaced. We also provide food, and clothing vouchers and other resources through our various partners and agencies to assist with transitioning individuals and families to promote healthy and stable living.

Volunteers

We’re always in need of volunteers for our events and administrative duties.

If you are interested in volunteering, you may e-mail us at info@huhinc.com or on our website.

If you are interested in donating any slightly used clothing, and shoes for men, women and children, you may contact us. We are always accepting these types of donations.

Mission

We are endeavoring to reduce, and eliminate those who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and housing displacement by providing emergency services and temporary housing to help aid our fellow citizens in transitioning them to affordable, sustainable housing along with other resources which can assist in building better communities.

Vision

We envision a decreased number of homelessness, displaced families and those who are experiencing domestic violence by educating, and providing the necessary resources by reducing these growing number of statistics in our communities.

Meet The Founder and CEO

Lorenetta has worked in Public Service for over 20 years and understands the commitment on helping those who are in need. Inspired by her husband to start this organization and a family member who consistently was homeless due to mental health issues, “Happy Unity Housing” was created.

Her passion for public service has always been grounded in what her mother has instilled in her since she was a little girl. Her mother was exemplary as one of the most compassionate and caring people I’ve ever known”.

“I strongly believe that those who find themselves in a non-suitable, temporary situation- can thrive with the correct guidance, resources, and continued support that they need”.

She serves as a member and volunteer for the Women Build Club which is a part to the Habitat for Humanity non-profit organization and volunteers her time with several other charities.

Her belief and faith in God are her motivation to assist others in obtaining and achieving their God given potential to overcome any obstacles they are facing.

She is married, with three children, has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is involved in outreach ministries. Her love hobbies are gardening, designing, decorating, and rehabbing homes.
